Willow-Spence, our iconic downtown retreat in the storied Willow-Spence Historic District of East Austin – a multimillion-dollar restoration of a Victorian estate, reimagined as a true boutique hotel experience unlike anything else in the city. With 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and a private detached guest unit, Willow-Spence hosts up to 12 guests in quiet, considered luxury, just two blocks from East 6th Street and minutes from downtown. It’s the kind of home built for milestone celebrations, corporate retreats, multi-generational getaways, and the sort of weekend with friends people remember for years.

Turn-of-the-century craftsmanship meets bold modern design throughout. Every bedroom is fully en-suite, every bed dressed in hotel-grade linens atop custom $8,000 mattresses, and the primary suite features heated bathroom floors, a deep soaking tub, and a walk-in shower, the kind of detail you feel without needing to be told. A moody Moroccan-inspired suite and penthouse-style rooms with working fireplaces give every floor its own personality, while a true chef’s kitchen – anchored by a Miele espresso machine and chef-grade range, invites cooking and entertaining at a level most rentals simply can’t touch.

Outside is where Willow-Spence fully tips into resort territory. Per the city of Austin short term rental ordinance the following rules apply to every vacation rental within city limits, with no exceptions: 1) Outdoor spaces are not available for use from 10 PM to 7 AM, 2) Parties and events are not permitted, 3) Occupancy limit of 8 unrelated adults.
